ERPNext / Frappe Developer
ERPNext implementation is one of the services we sell — a published, fixed-price engagement at ₹2,00,000 for accounting, inventory and GST in one system. We also run our own operations on ERPNext, which is the reason we can sell it honestly. You will do both: deliver client implementations, and own the platform behind portal.growwwtech.com. The price being fixed and public means scope discipline is part of the job — you decide what is configuration and what is genuinely custom, with the number already agreed.

What you actually work on
- Multichannel inventory sync across Shopify, Amazon and Flipkart, with buffer-stock rules so a brand does not oversell during a festival sale.
- Order automation — auto-import from every channel, warehouse assignment by pincode, picking lists, labels, and tracking pushed back to the customer.
- Shiprocket and Delhivery integration, including the failed-delivery and RTO reality of Indian COD.
- Payment reconciliation across gateways and marketplace payouts, plus accounting sync, invoicing and GST.
- portal.growwwtech.com — ERPNext v16 on Coolify, backed up to R2, and the four-layer access model that keeps each client seeing only their own data.
- Frappe CRM, and the Zoho Billing sync: a webhook plus a two-hour reconciliation sweep, where Zoho is the ledger and ERPNext is operations.
What you will do
- Design and build custom apps, DocTypes, workflows, server and client scripts, and reports on the Frappe framework.
- Build and maintain REST API integrations, including authentication, error handling, retries and reconciliation. Marketplace APIs fail mid-call; the design has to survive that.
- Configure standard ERPNext modules, and know when to configure rather than customise. On a fixed price this is the difference between profit and a rewrite.
- Manage roles, permissions and user-level data access. Getting this wrong exposes one client's data to another.
- Handle data migration: master data templates, opening balances, validation and cutover.
- Own deployment hygiene — version control, staging and production, upgrade planning, patch management, and backups you have actually restored from.
- Run requirement gathering and UAT directly with client process owners, and document what was built.
- Support clients after go-live and train their super-users.
What we need from you
- Hands-on ERPNext and Frappe framework development on live implementations, not administration or configuration alone.
- Strong Python and JavaScript. Solid SQL on MariaDB.
- Practical experience with custom DocTypes, server scripts, client scripts, hooks, scheduled jobs, custom print formats and query reports.
- REST API integration experience, including authentication and payload mapping.
- Indian statutory compliance in ERPNext: GST and e-invoicing. This is in the sold scope, not optional.
- Git, the Linux command line, and bench for site, app and environment management.
- Ability to read a business process and turn it into a system design without hand-holding, and to sit in front of a client while you do it.
- 4 to 5 years of relevant experience.
Good to have
- Ecommerce or D2C domain knowledge — marketplace operations, COD and RTO, multi-warehouse stock.
- Frappe CRM or Frappe Helpdesk.
- Vue.js, and portal pages built for external users.
- Experience migrating a business off spreadsheets, Tally or a legacy system.
- Self-hosted deployment experience — Docker, Coolify or similar.
- Contributions to the ERPNext or Frappe open-source repositories.

Do not apply if
Cheaper to read now than to find out in round two.
- You want to work remotely — this role is in the Visakhapatnam office.
- Your ERPNext experience is administration and configuration only. This role writes code.
- You would rather not be in front of clients. Requirements and UAT are yours, not a project manager's.
- You want a defined backlog handed to you. Nobody owns ERPNext here yet, so the first job is deciding what matters.
