₹30,000 + GST / month · dedicated
A dedicated Shopify developer here costs ₹30,000 + GST a month — one named person on your store, IST hours, 3-month minimum, cancel with notice after. If what you actually need is the store built, that is ₹50,000, fixed, live in 4 weeks. Both prices are in writing before any call. We are a Shopify Partner, and the same team runs the stack behind 200+ Indian D2C brands.

Pricing
Most “hire a developer” searches are really one of two problems: the store needs building, or the store is live and the change list never ends. Pick by problem, not by job title:
₹30,000+ GST / month
₹50,000+ GST, fixed
Cost
Three honest bands. A freelancer costs the least per task and the most per surprise; a dedicated developer costs a flat monthly number; a complete build costs once. Every figure below is + 18% GST, and ours are fixed in writing before work starts:
| Way of hiring | Price | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| Freelancer (Upwork, Fiverr) | ₹10,000–2,00,000 / project | One-off tweaks on a stable store |
| Dedicated developer (Growww Tech) | ₹30,000 / month | A weekly change list — dev and ops under one name |
| Complete store build (Growww Tech) | ₹50,000, once | A store that does not exist yet |
Weighing the freelancer route seriously? The honest comparison — including the four cases where the freelancer is the right call — is written up here.
The team
The same team, whichever way you hire it. The skills you are hiring:
Custom-coded themes and changes to the one you have — sections, speed work, checkout-adjacent fixes. We write code you own, not template configuration you rent.
Private Shopify apps, third-party integrations, and custom code where Shopify ends and your business begins — shipping rules, ERP syncs, payment and logistics wiring.
We build on Shopify Plus too — checkout customisation, Functions and Scripts, and Basic-to-Plus moves for brands whose volume has outgrown the standard tier.
Design sits in the same team as development, so nothing is lost in a handoff. Smaller design changes ride the retainer; a full ecommerce UI/UX pass is its own published product.
If the store does not exist yet, a developer is the wrong purchase. The complete Shopify website build is ₹50,000 + GST, live in 20–30 working days, no AMC. Hire the person after the shop is open.
WooCommerce, Magento, Wix or WordPress to Shopify — migration is included in the ₹50,000 build, with no separate migration fee.

Straight answer
If the store is not built yet, do not hire a developer — buy the build. ₹50,000 once beats ₹30,000 a month for a store that does not exist. And if the store is live but you change something once a quarter, you do not need a retainer either: bug fixes on what we shipped stay free for the life of the store.
A dedicated developer earns their keep when the change list is weekly — landing pages before every sale, new integrations, A/B tests, catalog surgery. That is a cadence problem, and cadence is what a named person solves.
FAQ
Freelancers on Upwork or Fiverr run ₹10,000–2,00,000 per project depending on scope and luck. A dedicated Growww Tech developer is ₹30,000 + GST a month with a 3-month minimum. A complete store build is ₹50,000 + GST, fixed. All three numbers should move for one reason only: scope agreed in writing.
Hourly billing rewards slow work — the meter runs while you wait. We price monthly and per-project instead: you know the number before the work starts, and slippage is our problem, not your invoice.
After the strategy call we confirm scope and a start date. There is no three-round interview loop — you are taking on a team member we have already vetted and trained across the 200+ stores we run.
You do. The theme, custom code and every credential sit in your accounts — the same ownership-transfer rule as our store builds. Any developer can pick up the work after us.
Yes. Working hours are Mon–Fri, 9:00–18:00 IST, and overseas D2C brands get the same published pricing — ₹30,000 is about $360 a month.
One named person owns your store, covering development changes and daily operations, coordinated with any other Growww Tech engagement you run. The strategy call fixes the scope in writing, so 'dedicated' means the same thing to both of us before any money moves.
Yes — design sits in the same team. Smaller design changes fall inside the dedicated retainer, and a standalone ecommerce UI/UX pass is a published product at ₹1,50,000 over 8 weeks.
15-minute call. If a dedicated developer is not what you need, we will say so and point you at what is.
